My name is Nikki and I’m a 4th Generation Dairy farmer.  I was born and raised on this farm.  I didn’t always think I would return home to take over the family farm but my love for animals and passion for food brought us back.  I met my Husband in college while working at a Christian youth camp.  After we were married he became a pastor and we started our life in full-time ministry.  Both of our children were born in Pennsylvania where my husband pastored at an amazing church just outside of Pittsburgh. After the kids were born we felt a strong desire to move closer to home.  So we packed up the car and migrated to Omaha, Ne where my husband took a position with a Christian non-profit that facilitates mission trips for groups all over the world. During the early years, I stayed at home with the kids but when they reach school age I jumped into a career in retail where I managed a Justice clothing store. 

That’s when 2020 hit and the whole world turned upside down. My store closed down and I was once again evaluating what my future looked like. Around this same time opportunity afforded me a chance to get involved in the dairy, working alongside my dad to transition the farm to the next generation. The possibility of coming back to the farm, to raise my kids in the same community I grew up in was so exciting to me.  We were excited about embarking on a much simpler and healthier lifestyle. These days, you will find our family out in the farm yard, working with the animals, enjoying an active life in the great outdoors. Almost 100 years ago, my Great-grandfather built a farm through hard work and a commitment to innovation and excellence. Today we passionately honor that legacy as we pioneer new products and strive to engage our community to build a better tomorrow.
